Let the Scarket Fall.

Something is strange,
You didnt expect the scene to change.
The curtains fell to early,
You stare at the simple velvet cloth.

You are excited,
and you want something.
They know you want it,
But hold out of your arms reach.

Your eyes feel green,
The envy is pissing you off.
Someone has what you have,
And its so close to you.

Tell them you want it,
All they do is 'act' sad.
It is a dressing room stage act,
A kissing scene that went bad.

You notice them hiding,
The thing you want most.
You blink and your lips move,
Nothing leaves your throat.

What can you say to this line?
What to say to the tragety?
Let the scarlet fall,
Tell the truth..and we may see.

[insert 'cool' title here]

You cant explain your reasons,
There is no way to tell.
You live in what people call heaven,
But you consider hell.

Let them see you walk,
Down the cracked path.
Its like tired, bloodshot eyes,
Wanting to sleep.

The problem is,
You begin to notice everything they dont.
The vines growing up the fence,
Like the simple life you live.

Tired of cliche everything?
Let go and start up new.
Are you really living in what they call hell?
There isnt really any way to tell.

Here Lies the Bloodless, Ashen Skin Touching Mine

Whoever told me I couldn't be normal, would be wrong right now. The children, parents, and grandparents would never even expect me to be a bloodsucker. The simple life of cat and mouse is pretty fun, but it gets even better when you are around the prey. To know how they act, and live like them. Truthfully, I already knew. Everytime I sat in the trees that swayed in the wind, I would watch them, very carefully.

No matter how much my mother told me, I would talk to them. The humans, the ones I would kill. My father could careless. I live with them and my younger sister, Anna. My house, at the end of the town, was probably the biggest. People would look at the house and usually think, Wow, what an amazing place!  Funny, they had no idea what lied inside.

"Travis Malicant, age: 17, birthday: May 23rd?" the secretary asked quietly and and I nodded a toothy smile. This would be more fun than I thought. The simple game was about to get difficult. Her pale skin let off a very musky smell, making me almost gag. Her heart beat was slow and almost unnoticable. Of coarse, I could hear it like a beat of a song. I closed my eyes and listened to it. The tempo was like a simple melody. I drifted as papers landed in front of me. I jumped and looked up in amazment.

"Sign the papers, and I'll give you a pass," she smirked and I rolled my hazel eyes. Now, they were playing with me. Filling out papers? Seriously?

"Yes, ma'am," I saluted to her and grinned. I took the pen and began. My hand slid across the paper like nothing. The pen glided and I finished within seconds. The lady looked at me and dropped her jaw.

"Practice ma'am," I forced a smile, "just practice." She grabbed the papers, and put them in a file. I nodded and waited patiently for the hall-pass. I couldn't stop smirking like an idiot. She handed it me and I walked out to the loads of prey...I mean students?

A Simple Project,Turn Out to Be More...

Chapter 1

Okay, so basically, this was the easiest class possible. Senior class English  would be like eating cake… I would get the highest grades in the class.  Literature was my major, sucking me into any piece of writing possible.  The papers that won awards would always stated, “George Ross” on the top. Personally, I liked being known by Ryan, but that name works too. The only thing I didn’t like about this school were the kids. I mean, they were like five-year-olds. Flunking this class was like flunking kindergarten. One day, there was an assignment. Everyone had a partner and had to pitch in to get it done. This helped those who needed help, and gave those who didn’t, something to do.

The kid, the smart but lazy one, was my partner. I could see the smug look on his face when Mrs. DeMont paired me with him.  The thoughts of him crossed my mind. He wanted an easy ‘A,’ an easy way out. I shrugged off those thoughts as we were told to sit next to our partners. Nothing could move him, so I did. He was just tapping a pencil on the desk, irritating me. I put my hand on his incessant movement and glared down.

“Brendon Urie, Ryan Ross,” I looked up at my name being called. The teacher simply made a “hurry up and get working” face. I nodded to this and took a seat. Brendon had started up again with the tapping and I kicked him in the shin.

“So, what do you want to do for the project?” I asked after Brendon let out a few groans of pain. He just stared at me.

“Essay and presentation,” I stated and he shrugged. He was aggravating me now, with his lazy attitude. I leaned closer to him and sighed.

“Listen, I know you are smart,” I said and he listened, “now you just have to be willing.” I put my hand on his. He face looked at our hand contact.

“Now, who’s house are we going over to work on this?” He finally asked and I pulled away.

“Mine, for now,” I answered and Brendon nodded. Maybe this would work. Brendon could be a good project partner after all. I wrote down my address and cell phone number on a piece of paper and gave it to him. He nodded again after reading the info.

“Got it, what time?” I heard him say as I packed up my things.

“Uh, after school, so…3:00-ish?” I shrugged and he nodded. He obviously had a speaking problem, because all he did was nod. I got my bag on, and when the bell rang, I walked out. The kid probably didn’t even remember my name.

“See you after school, Ryan!” I heard a yell as Brendon walked down the hall stairway alone.

So he did remember my name…This would work out, right?
